We are searching for an experienced and strategic-minded Fleet Director to lead our teams responsible for the fleet operations.
The Fleet Director will be responsible for developing and implementing fleet strategies to optimize performance, maintenance, procurement, technical innovations and drive operational excellence.
Your new day-to-day
Your mission will be to oversee the operational deployment and technical management of our fleet of tank containers to contribute to Trifleet’s goal of operational excellence and providing the best service to our customers. You are part of our Management Team.
- Ensure high-quality day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives;
- Coordinate tank container availability with market demand, ensuring capacity and quality meet technical management standards;
- Lead and manage cross functional teams (Operations, Maintenance & Repair (M&R) and Procurement) to increase individual and team contributions. Provide mentorship, training, support and leadership to teams;
- Improve operational efficiency within Operations, M&R and Procurement by identifying high priority opportunities, managing resources, driving implementation, following up, and measuring results;
- Support cross-functional process improvement and communication;
- Lead procurement of new equipment, including specifications, supplier negotiations, and quality control;
- Contribute to the continuous development of Trifleet’s operational ERP system, optimizing workflows and efficiency, and actively participating in sustaining a future proof operational system.
Your profile
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in fleet management of similar or broadly similar assets. 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Affinity with or knowledge about tank containers, logistics transports and/or chemical industries is preferred.
A strong team leader who ensures that the team focuses on and achieve common goals and vision and who mentors and motivates the people in the organization.
Other requirements
- Proficient in Dutch and English;
- Experience with ERP implementation;
- Experienced with Microsoft Dynamics and MS Office;
- An assessment is part of the recruitment procedure.
