Global Manager Operations

Are you ready to take the lead in global logistics and fleet operations? As Global Manager Operations, you’ll be responsible for the worldwide operational management of leased tank containers. You’ll guide international teams, optimize fleet movements, and ensure our operations run smoothly and cost-effectively across continents.

This position is initially offered as a temporary assignment to cover for a colleague on medical leave, with the possibility of extension or transition depending on business needs and performance.


Your Impact

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and inspire Operations Managers and Assistants across our global offices.
  • Oversee complex booking processes and ensure timely execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues, driving digital efficiency.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with shipping companies for container repositioning.
  • Collaborate with Sales to align operations with customer demand forecasts.
  • Provide strategic insights on fleet capacity and container availability.

Fleet Optimization

  • Manage global repositioning of tank containers in close coordination with the Director of Fleet.
  • Schedule container movements to reduce idle time and maximize utilization.
  • Ensure fleet availability meets customer expectations and order volumes.
  • Share operational data to support decision-making across departments.

Reporting & Innovation

  • Deliver clear, data-driven reports on fleet status, utilization, and repositioning.
  • Act as key ERP system user—test, optimize, and train team members.
  • Monitor KPIs to ensure operational goals are met.
  • Lead or support projects focused on process improvement, cost reduction, and fleet efficiency.

Collaboration & Influence

You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, service providers, and subcontractors. Your leadership will drive performance, cost-efficiency, and continuous improvement across our global operations.
